i'm back again from a long holiday, this wonderful month is coming to an end, so let's be careful the way we play hyip this season, play with cautions, but don't worry i will be discussing on how to succeed in HYIP:

Whenever one hears of the words High Yield Investment Program, it isn’t unnatural to find people shivering in their boots. And why not, high investment can only mean high risk, can’t it. And to top it all, there are always people willing and wanting to take advantage of those who are gullible enough to part with their hard earned money on a second’s notice.

Because of these factors, High Yield Investment Programs have gained a notoriety that some other elements can only envy. This reputation has dissuaded serious investors from even regarding them and encouraged the shadier elements of the financial district to set up shop using such.

A tangible contact means you can actually talk to the person on the phone or through email. Make sure you can ascertain the legitimacy of his trading and his person.

If a HYIP is promising too much, let’s say an 80% return on investment, you have to be wary. Although HYIPs generally give a higher than normal return rate, ROIs that make your eyes pop out are signs to look out for in a bogus enterprise. If they can promise really good rates, then make sure they explain how they can get to that amount. If that is not the case, run for it; the enterprise is probably bogus.

If you are trying an HYIP, then make sure you start small. This way you get to test the waters for stability, legitimacy and other factors as well. If you can check with Better Business Bureaus then that would be an added security on your part and is always good practice when investing in anything.

Is It Possible To Make A Living From HYIPs ?

This is probably one of the most asked questions we get. “Is it possible to Make a living off of HYIPs ?” The answer to this question is both “Yes,” and “NO”. Let us explain.

“YES” people can make a living off of HYIP investing. If they have the skill the drive, and the ability to recover from major losses. In theory, it is possible and often times probable to make a good living ($20,000-$50,000) per year in the HYIP arena. The problem is however, that in order to do this, the investor needs to take a major risk. Without the financial backing in case of bad investment decisions, many individuals do not and should not even consider making HYIP investing a career. This brings us to why this question can also be answered “NO”.

“NO” people can not make a living off of HYIPs unless they are extremely skilled, and are already in a good financial situation. This can be said however for stock market and bond market investing as well. If you have half a million $’s then sure, you can live off of the earnings you make in the stock and bond markets, or turn to the more risky HYIPs to earn even higher returns.

The point of this article is to show that usually if you are looking to make a living on HYIPs, then you probably won’t (and should not) be able to do it without risking a very large portion of your assets. On the other hand, those people who have a great deal of money and are not looking to make a living since they have more then enough funds to live off of, are the people who can make a living off of HYIPs. If you are desparate and looking for quick cash, then you should not be investing large sums of money in this arena, however if you are wealthy and looking to increase your wealth and have fun, the HYIP arena may be right for you.

In conclusion, those looking to make a living in this arena are those that probably won’t, while those people who are not looking to make a living in HYIPs are usually the ones who do, but don’t need to.

HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Program.

HYIPs are purported investment programs normally offered via the Internet. HYIPs typically accept investments of $100 or less while promising high returns. The introduction of e-currencies such as Liberty Reserve and StormPay (although almost all HYIPs do not use StormPay as of February 2006, see StormPay article for why) has made it easy for HYIPs to operate across international boundaries, and to accept large numbers of small investments.

HYIPs typically are not based in the United States, Europe, or Japan - countries that have strong laws against unregistered investment programs. HYIPs disclose little or no detail about the principals, management, location, or other aspects of whom is getting the money to be invested, and relatively little information (other than asserting that they do various types of trading on various stock and other exchanges) on how their investment programs actually work.

The largest HYIP scam that has ever existed is PIPS (People in Profit System or Pure Investors). The investment scheme was started by an engineer, Bryan Marsden, in 2004 (according to the Wayback Machine record and spanned more than 20 countries in the world. PIPS is now being investigated by Bank Negara Malaysia.

According to a website HYIP Scam Search that maintains a database of HYIP scams daily, as at May of 2006, the total number of HYIP scams was approximately 3500. This is the total number of scams occurred from 2004 to 2006 and excluding scams not reported. About 5 new scams are reported every day. 89% of the scams preferred e-gold and liberty reserve as their online payment processors than others

It’s good to be here in naija hyip investor’s blog, a place where we discuss about all scheme of making money online, especially hyip investments programs.

Today we are going to be discussing on this topic: HYIP INVESTMENT DIVERSIFICATION, a.k.a “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” na wa.

High Yield Investment programs usually involve in a variety of high risk and volatile field of investment such as Forex trading, Stock exchange, Sports betting, metal trading etc. There are also HYIPs that do not invest at all, scammers. From these facts, you can easily realize that there is always a risk associated with investment in HYIPs.

If you are not able to control these risks, you will lose your hard earned money badly. For that reason, you should be able to implement a mechanism to manage and minimize these risks to the smallest possible. The most effective way of minimizing these risks is Diversification.

What Diversification is as applied to HYIPs?

Diversification is a technique that reduces the risk by spreading your portfolio over many programs to avoid excessive risk imposed by HYIPs. In simple English this means “ do not put all your eggs in one basket”.

There are certain issues you should consider on how to diversify you portofolio over different programs. Let’s see these issues one by one:

Determining how many Programs You should have

Obviously diversifying over 10 programs is better than investing into 2 programs. It is even better to have 20 programs instead of 10. But, it is hard to find 20 solid programs. There fore , The bottom line for diversification , as far as HYIPs is concerned is that , you have to diversify you portfolio over researched programs as maximum as possible. But, I want to clarify one thing; Diversification does not mean spreading your portfolio over scam programs. Always make a diligent research before you diversify you portfolio.

To put it briefly, diversify your portfolio to at least 5 to 10 well researched programs.

Mixing between Old and New Programs

You may have favorite programs performing well for long time, programs which you have more confidence, well researched and what you think are reliable. But there is a concern in HYIPs arena; there is always a calculated risk even with the most solid program. It is hard or impossible to exactly determine the age of a particular HYIP. For this reason, it is always recommended to mix your favorite HYIPs with new programs.

How much to Invest between each programs

It is obvious that you should spread your portfolio over different programs proportional to the programs credibility. But, you should be careful not to over invest in a particular program.

Let’s see what does this mean, say you have 8 programs and your portofolio is $1,000. It is not advisable to put $450 in a single program while investing $50 each between the rest 7 programs. You should make a balanced investment. Balanced in a sense, spread your portfolio proportional to the credibility of the programs.

Let’s how you can do this with your favorite 8 programs and $1,000.

To Star with, First group and grade your favorite programs based on their performance and credibility.

Say you have grouped your programs as follows:

• Class “A” (Top performers) programs – 3 Programs
• Class “B” (Good Choice) programs – 2 Programs
• Class “C” programs (Programs with less credibility than class “B”) – 3 Programs

And your grading for each class is:

• Class “A” is 1.5
• Class “B” is 1.25
• Class “C” is 1

(3 x 1.5) + (2 x 1.25) + (3 x 1) = 10

Now, let’s see how to distribute your portofolio over each class;

> For Class “A” programs: (1.5/10) x $1,000 = $150

> For Class “B” programs: (1.25/10) x $1,000 = $ 125

> For Class “C” Programs: (1/10) x $ 1,000= $ 100

Which means, invest $ 150 for each class “A” programs, $125 for Class “B” and $100 for Class “C” Programs.

Note that each number given is only for demonstration purposes; actual numbers are determined based on the number of your favorite programs and you grading.

You should also understand that the amount of investment for each program depends on other issues, such as the minimum investment of each program. Some programs have minimum investment of $10, $50, $100, $200; even there are programs with minimum investment of $1,000.

I would like to point out that you should always follow-up each of your favorite programs, make evaluations and adjust them accordingly.

In conclusion, there is no ideal diversification formula that is right for every investor- it depends on each program, your financial situation and tolerance of risk. But, if you diversify you portfolio over different programs, you money will always be safe even under the worst case.
